At Heart of the Mountain, you will find a selection of beautiful handmade items perfect for the one who wants something truly unique. Our cylinders, slabs, wine rocks, and other items are all handmade from a rare and beautiful form of calcite called Honeycomb Calcite – we refer to it as Honeystone.
Honeystone was discovered in 1995 and comes from a single mountain in Utah – the only source for this type of calcite in existence. It takes its name from the beautiful honey color and the random webbing often resembles a honeycomb and is a great choice for adding a one-of-a-kind touch to your home or business. Being translucent, this stone is perfect for housing candles, sconces and chandeliers, and many other creative lighting ideas.
You can find us at the Texas Renaissance Festival, booth 625D, every weekend from October through November and at the Sherwood Forest Faire, booth 621, every weekend in February through April (check with each faire for dates), or soon you will be able to shop right here. Come see us at the faire or email us on our contact page and we can help you select the perfect piece of our heart to take home with you.
